Craig Rudasics

As a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Craig initially worked for several fortune 500 Companies. Knowing the effect that the lack of light had on his body and psyche during the shorter, cloudier, winter days and months, compelled him to study Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and the applications of light therapy. Now interested in lighting in relation to mood, along with his innate artistic and creative attributes, he studied landscape lighting under the renowned landscape lighting author and designer Jan Moyer (Berkeley, California), whose lighting projects included California wineries and upstate New York estates. Having an interest in bringing these professional lighting design techniques to the Midwest, Craig founded The Brite Side in 2001. Then, in 2011, he founded Brite Side Design to specialize in and focus on high-end lighting designs. He listens carefully to understand the mood and nighttime atmospheres his clients are after, and then creates them. His architectural and landscape lighting designs can be found in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. With his two daughters now grown and living on the opposite coastline, Craig’s passion turns to the outdoors, the beach, and boating during his free time.
